Harmonica Workshop with Steve Walker

Learn to play this inexpensive, portable, fun musical instrument! You’ll start with the basics with familiar melodies, and move on to jamming on a blues progression and playing in a group. A Hohner Bluesband Key of C harmonica is included with the cost of ticket.

Great for beginners, no music reading or previous musical experience necessary. Guitar players who are looking to add harmonica to their musical palette will find this class especially helpful. Printed materials and some advanced techniques included.

Instructor Steve Walker has taught this class at Make Music Upper Perk, Owen J. Roberts and Upper Perkiomen School Districts, and has recordings playing harmonica with members of the Grateful Dead and the New Riders of the Purple Sage. He is a wealth of knowledge and we're so happy he's part of The Crossroads team!
